We offer customers� Cognos experts the opportunity to demonstrate their theoretical and practical knowledge of Cognos products and to obtain certification in specific areas. Candidates are required to complete a demanding course at the Cognos Academy, followed by testing through Thomson Prometric�s respected test centers.

Certification consists of two stages:

The first stage is role-based, meaning it is geared to different user types, with separate certification tracks for report creators, administrators, etc. Cognos experts can obtain certification for one or more roles.
In the second stage, Cognos experts who have successfully obtained role-based certification can be certified as professionals.
