You are responsible for planning and operating data warehouses. You model your metadata, including moving, merging, consolidating, and transforming data from a range of data sources to build and maintain subject-area data marts.
You create Cognos ReportNet data models, Impromptu catalogs, PowerPlay cubes and Planning and Architect models. Responsible for planning, designing and modeling meta data made available to report consumers and report creators, you also take part in the development of data warehouses.
You are responsible for the planning, development, maintenance and deployment of CPM Solutions. You plan and manage budgets, objectives, risks, people and timelines associated with fulfilling a defined scope of requirements.
You access pre-defined reports to understand the status of your business and build simple queries to focus on variances and exceptions.
You build sophisticated reports for yourself and others. You are responsible for gathering report requirements, creating the reports, and deploying them, typically through the Web.
You manage the technical deployment of your company's applications. You manage security, review hardware and software requirements, and plan the overall system infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and system optimization.
